We are delighted to announce that Hamilton Accies of the cinch Championship will be piloting Fanbase technology for away ticketing,  starting with the league game against Ayr United on Saturday 18th September.

Away fans will have the ability to purchase and store digital tickets from their mobile device or computer through the Fanbase platform.

With the adoption of Fanbase technology, the club will be able to sell tickets for upcoming events and fixtures 24/7,  contributing to an expected increase in attendances and revenue.

Selling tickets in advance will also help the club massively when it comes to match-day operations. As they will know how many tickets have been sold, they can be better prepared when it comes to catering and stewarding requirements.

Fanbase co-founder Alasdair Crawley commented “Hamilton Accies have led the way in Scotland with their use of New Douglas Park as a multi-functional asset of the club. They’ve hosted everything from fireworks to boxing fights as well as football matches on a Saturday! Our job is to help Hamilton harness the power of this data opportunity to engage their local community long term. It starts with this pilot.

Hamilton Chief Executive Colin McGowan said: “We are delighted to be working with the fantastic people over at Fanbase. The service they offer is one we have been looking to bring to the club for several months now.

When fully implemented fans will have the opportunity to buy tickets at any time. This is something which can only benefit the supporters and the club.”
