Get match ready in hours with Fanbase

We are often asked by clubs, how quickly can we get set up?

The answer technically is 10 minutes (depending on whether you have a Stripe account) but the entire process to ensure clubs are up to speed with their new fan engagement platform often takes a little longer - although not much.

It is extraordinarily easy to get set up with a Fanbase account with the entire process from meeting a club for the first time to selling tickets to fans often only taking a matter of hours.

Our record is just 4 hours from strangers to partners!

We recently announced a new partnership with Chertsey Town FC who compete in the Isthmian League South Central Division. They chose to move on from their previous ticketing partner and were in need of a platform as pre-season was fast approaching and fans were expecting an announcement on season tickets.

A race to season ticket launch

Our first meeting with Chertsey was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, it was then that the Chairman shared the plan to launch season tickets on Friday at 6pm - as had already been communicated with supporters.

48 hours? No problem! Here’s how it went:

  1. Wednesday afternoon: Initial chat with Mark, the Chairman

    • Understand the requirements Chertsey were looking for

    • Talk through how Fanbase can help

    • Discuss the financials and set up timelines

  2. Thursday morning: Platform set up

    • Fanbase set up a Chertsey account

    • Input season ticket data

    • Give login in details to Mark and Maria

  3. Thursday afternoon: Follow up call with Maria, the Commercial Manager

    • Share how to connect Stripe

    • Input ticket prices and pre-season fixtures

    • Check Maria was happy with operating the platform

  4. Friday morning: Partnership and season tickets launched

    • Season tickets went live!

    • Fanbase provided social media assets and posters to put up at the club

    • Tickets sold and fans happy

We’ve been in contact with Maria and Mark to ensure they’re happy with their new platform and to deal with any fan support queries.

They are already starting to see the benefit with thanks to a number of digital season tickets sold, the fact that they are available 24/7 and delivered straight to the fans' mobile device not only improves their experience but has meant the club have had a significantly reduced workload this season when it comes to the admin involved during a regular season ticket launch.

If you want to learn more then click below and get start for free, as with Chertsey, we can go from first meeting to launch to happy fans within 48 hours.
