Colwyn Bay FC Return to Fanbase as Official Ticketing & Fan Engagement Partner

Fanbase is delighted to welcome Colwyn Bay FC back to the platform as the club’s Official Ticketing & Fan Engagement Partner.

The renewed relationship comes at an exciting time for Colwyn Bay, with the club continuing to grow its supporter base and ambitions both on and off the pitch. More than 1,000 supporters attended home games on average last season, with several crowds exceeding 1,500 and a season-high 2,357 attending the visit of Caernarfon Town.

Having previously used Fanbase, the club returns to a platform it already knows, with an increased focus on using ticketing, supporter data and communication to support its continued growth.

Through Fanbase, Colwyn Bay will bring ticketing, communication and fan engagement into a single platform, creating a simpler digital journey for supporters while giving the club greater insight into its fanbase. As attendances and the number of events hosted by the club continue to grow, that infrastructure will help Colwyn Bay communicate more effectively, develop its matchday and event offering and build stronger relationships with supporters.

Brian Madden, Chairman of Colwyn Bay FC, said:

“We’re delighted to be working with Fanbase again as our official ticketing provider. Having used the platform previously, we already knew the quality of the system and the service their team provides, so we’re really pleased to be back working together.

As Colwyn Bay FC continues to grow both on and off the pitch, we need a ticketing platform that is simple and accessible for our supporters but also gives us the flexibility to support the wider growth of the Club.

With our attendances continuing to grow and more events taking place at the Club, we see Fanbase playing an important part in improving the supporter experience and helping us develop our matchday and event offering.

The transition back to Fanbase has been incredibly straightforward and we’re excited about what we can achieve together.”

Alasdair Crawley, Co-Founder and CEO of Fanbase, said:

“Colwyn Bay are a brilliant addition to Fanbase. There is real momentum around the club, a strong supporter base and a clear ambition to keep progressing both on and off the pitch.

“We’re excited to help them build on that by making it easier to understand, engage and grow their audience. They’re exactly the kind of ambitious, forward-thinking club we love working with and we’re looking forward to supporting the next stage of their growth.”

Colwyn Bay join a growing network of clubs using Fanbase across Welsh football, as the platform continues to support clubs with modern ticketing, fan engagement and the tools to build stronger relationships with their supporters.
