Fanbase Partner with Redcar Bears Speedway Ahead of 2026 Season

Fanbase is delighted to announce a new partnership with Redcar Bears Speedway, who will adopt the Fanbase platform ahead of the 2026 season to enhance the club’s digital experience and supporter engagement.

The partnership will introduce a more modern and streamlined way for Redcar Bears supporters to purchase tickets, manage season tickets and stay connected with the club. Through the Fanbase platform, fans will be able to buy tickets in just a few clicks and receive updates directly from the team.

For Redcar Bears, the platform will also provide valuable insights into supporter behaviour while reducing administrative workload. By bringing ticketing and fan communication into one system, the club will be able to better understand its supporters, engage with them more effectively and continue building a stronger connection with the Redcar Bears community.

The partnership represents Fanbase’s first move into speedway, with the platform already supporting clubs across football, basketball and other sports.

Kevin Russell, Business Development Manager at Fanbase, said:

“We are delighted to partner with the Redcar Bears for the 2026 season and beyond. From our first conversation it was clear that Jamie, Leanne and the rest of the team have a real passion for the club, the riders and of course the fans.

The Fanbase platform will enable a smooth buying experience for fans, reduce administrative hours across the club and increase revenue. As a speedway fan myself, it has been great putting this partnership together.

I would like to wish everybody connected with the Redcar Bears, as our first Speedway Partner Club, the very best of luck on and off the shale this season.”

Jamie Swales, Promoter at Redcar Bears, said:

“We’re really pleased to be working with Fanbase as we look to modernise the way supporters interact with the club. Speedway has incredibly loyal fans and it’s important that the experience we offer them reflects the expectations people now have when buying tickets or following their team.

The platform gives us a cleaner, simpler system that makes it easy for supporters to purchase tickets, manage their season tickets and stay in touch with everything happening at the club.

Just as importantly, it allows us to build a much better understanding of our fans. In the past many ticket purchases were anonymous, whereas now we’ll be able to communicate more directly with supporters and build stronger relationships with them.

We’re already starting to see the benefits, particularly around ticket sales and the time it saves our staff behind the scenes. Ultimately it means we can focus more on the racing and delivering the best possible experience for our supporters.”

Fans can follow Redcar Bears through the Fanbase platform as the club prepares for the 2026 season.
