Torquay United FC select Fanbase as their Official Ticketing Partner.

Fanbase is pleased to announce a new partnership with Torquay United FC, which sees the platform become the club's Official Ticketing partner.

Founded in 1899, Torquay United are one of the most established and best-supported clubs in non-league football, with a proud 127-year history and a supporter base that continues to set the standard at this level. Known as The Gulls, the club consistently attracts some of the highest attendances in the National League South, reflecting the strength of its connection with the local community.

Following a recent transition to fan ownership via the Bryn Consortium and the Torquay United Supporters Trust, the club has placed a renewed focus on strengthening that relationship. As part of that approach, the emphasis is on creating a more connected supporter journey, both on matchday and beyond.

Through Fanbase, Torquay United will bring ticketing, communication and fan engagement into a single platform, helping to streamline operations while delivering a more seamless experience for supporters. As part of this, the club will launch a dedicated, club-branded app, bringing together ticketing, content and communication into one unified experience, designed around the supporter.

The platform will also enable the club to make better use of fan data and insights, supporting more relevant communication and a deeper understanding of how supporters engage with the club across multiple channels.

Jerome McCarthy, Head of Growth at Fanbase, said:

"Torquay United are no doubt a club on the up. A recent switch to fan ownership via the Bryn Consortium and the Torquay United Supporters Trust has seen the club prioritise the relationship with fans.

"So, naturally, we’re delighted to be partnering with a club that is committed to taking the fan experience to new levels.

"As a lifelong fan, I’m really excited to support the team in building on the fan engagement foundations that have been set in the past 24 months. This means helping to optimise the experience and power the club with insights to recognise and reward the fans to maximise and engagement and revenue. All helping towards the ultimate goal of becoming a sustainable league football club, back where it belongs.

"As Fanbase continues to work with clubs across the UK, the focus remains on helping organisations deliver better matchday experiences while building stronger, more connected relationships with their supporters."

Tim Herbert, Torquay United General Manager, said:

"We are delighted to begin a new journey with FanBase and offer the Yellow Army a fantastic experience when booking match tickets, the Plainmoor Pass and the full range of events here at Torquay United.

"After a series of meetings and presentations from various providers, we firmly believe FanBase will enhance the journey for supporters when securing their place at the full range of events at Plainmoor, from the thrills of a match-day to the ambience of lunch in the Cove Restaurant, and everything else in between."
